Summertime is fast approaching and if you’re like me, you have probably been losing sleep as summer fast approaches and think about what summer camps I will be signing my kids up for this year. As a mom of three, I know from experience that summer camps offer amazing opportunities for children to try new and exciting things. I love the opportunities for personal growth, independence, confidence and the new friends and great memories they will keep forever.
Circle Square Ranch & Pioneer Camps are proud members of the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada which offers fabulous locations across Canada.  Circle Square Ranch provides an environment in which young people are able to grow spiritually, mentally, socially and physically during their summer day camp experiences.
The camp closest to folk in southern Ontario is located in Brantford, Ontario Just minutes from the city, the Brantford camp offers a suprising country oasis, located on a beautiful, rolling countryside. It offers great activities like horseback riding, wall climbing, zip line and archery.
Ranchers are encouraged to try new and exciting activities that are a great challenge and tons of extraordinary fun! New experiences are what camp is all about! Exploring the beautiful outdoors, lots of physical activity (sorry no video games or TV allowed), meeting new friends or connecting with old ones are a part of each fun-filled day at camp.
We have a wide variety of camp sessions throughout the summer for children 6 – 16 years old. Our vast range of sessions makes Circle Square appealing to kids of all ages and interests. Ranchers participate in a variety of instructional and recreational activities based on their preferences. 252 Crew Camp
Suited for 14 to 17 year olds
One step before the LIT program and is a service-based experience where campers are working at camp while experiencing camp life and activities. Campers earn OSSD credits for volunteering — service includes: dish pit, operations, etc.)
Genesis: “Extreme Camping” 
Co-ed campers and 20 of their high school peers
Experience an exciting and different activity every day. It could be whitewater rafting down the Ottawa River and rock face repelling the next day.
Woodland Challenge
Co-ed camp experience sees high school campers totally unplugged from technology and literally ‘out in the woods;/.
Emphasis is on hiking, making their own fire,etc.
Family Camp
Bring the entire family for a great experience!
There is no age restriction and children 4 and under are free.
Campers will participate in all camp activities including daily bible study, arts and crafts, mountain biking, high and low ropes courses, archery, nature hikes, sports fields and a playground. Water activities include swimming, canoeing, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, water slides and trampolines.
Special Needs Inclusion Program
Special needs children are included with the rest of the camp.Campers receive 1 on 1 care and learn about “experiencing life together” with their peers.
Special Needs Work Program
For young people with special needs aged 18 and into their late 20’s.
Special needs individuals will be given a job at the camp for the purpose of receiving job experience to help them seek jobs elsewhere and have successful, fulfilling positions at other companies as a result of this experience.

Alberta Pioneer Camp
Two  locations, Alberta Pioneer Camp is offered at either Pioneer Lodge, 16km SW of Sundre, overlooking the Red Deer River valley with a fantastic view of the Rockies.
Guests stay in dorm or twin rooms in the main Lodge, or in heated cabins. The other location, Pioneer Ranch, is located on Crimson Lake, 16 km NW of Rocky Mountain House. Guests stay in cozy cabins along the shores of the lake. This camp offers a strong horsemanship program for horse lovers and offers a beautiful lake and pool for swimming activities.
Manitoba Pioneer Camp
The smallest of the 4 Pioneer camps, this camp is located in the beautiful wilderness of Lake of Woods 1 ½ hours east of Regina, Saskatchewan. This camp offers a more intimate experience and for those daring, adventurous types. Horseback riding, swimming, archery, canoeing, BMX biking, vaulting, arts and crafts, air rifles and rock climbing to name a few. It also the most extensive wilderness/tripping activities of all the camps. How does  5, 10 or 20 days out in the wilderness with other campers sound to you? We are located approximately 1 1/2 hours east of Regina, just 20 km from Wolseley, Saskatchewan, campers get a warm, ranch atmosphere in a place to get away from it all. It’s not just a place to “get away from it all”…it is a place that can be used to enrich your life and create many great memories. Some of the activities offered are: horseback riding, swimming, archery, canoeing, BMX biking, vaulting, arts and crafts, air rifles and rock climbing. Leader In Training
For those looking to expand their leadership skills, this camp also offers one of the top LIT (Leadership in Training) programs in the country.  This co-ed program is designed to challenge and facilitate the personal development of young people aged 16 or 17 who want to learn about Christian leadership. The program, the smallest of the Pioneer camps, takes only 120 students per summer and trains young people to serve as leaders at camp, in their home, schools and church communities. These programs are so popular that they are currently increasing their facilities to house more students due to high demand.
Pioneer Pacific Camp is located on the north of Vancouver Island on Thetis Island.  Thetis Island is a small community of about 350 full-time residents, which expands to between 1000 and 2000 during the fine weather seasons. Visitors to the island will discover delightful rural scenes, beautiful shoreline, crystal clear waters, and wonderful views. It is especially popular in the summer, where visitors enjoy diverse recreational opportunities, including scuba diving, fishing, swimming, sailing, cruising and kayaking, bird watching, and hiking. If you are looking for an amazing, adventurous experience, this camps offers a unique ocean-driven experience on the shores of the Pacific Ocean.     established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog?
    I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about making my own
    but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Cheers
