Standard

I continue to be amazed and inspired by the variety and quality of free events offered in our community.  When I spotted this ad in the local paper, I just knew I had to share it with my readers. With Spring just around the corner, this one is just in the nick of time for those of us who love to get our hands dirty in the garden!

The Region of Waterloo’s  ‘Naturescaping Seminar Series’ offers everything from creating flair in your landscaping, happy, healthy grass and the good the bad and ugly of gardening.  You must preregister but they are free so take a little ‘me time’ and expand your mind.

Amazing hockey tournament coming to Kitchener and games are free so come by and support this cool event!  March 14-16, 2013, Kitchener will be hosting the 19th Annual Special Hockey International tournament. The annual SHI tournament brings together teams from across North America and England once a year for a major gathering. There are no elimination rounds, no one team is crowned champion. In our eyes they are all champions. Every team plays up to 4 games and every player on every team plays equally.Special Hockey allows the developmentally challenged to achieve their own goals on their own schedule.

Oh Yes.. it’s all FREE!!!! This weeks’ score.. Shampoo, Pasta & Toilet Cleaner…

Standard

Image

Did you know that every week couponers are getting stuff for FREE? Yes you read that correctly.. 100% FREE, and let’s face it, it doesn’t get any better than that!

Each week, there is almost something FREE when you combine the flyer sale prices with a coupon. This includes a large range of products but basically, there will be something for everyone. This week it’s shampoo, toilet cleaner and pasta, but it often includes deodorant, toothpaste and all kinds of other grocery items.

The best plan is to have a coupon stash ready so that when the deals come up, you’re all set with your coupon in hand. But sometimes you are lucky and able to just print one-off.. like the Dove coupon below..

Even if you don’t need it that week, you can either stockpile it for future use or some people are just giving the stuff away which is another great idea. If you don’t like that product, consider getting it anyways and giving it someone who does. A Food Bank, a Women’s or Homeless Shelter or someone else.

Just to give you an idea… here are this week’s FREEBIES.

This Week’s Deals – March 1st to 7th include..
