It’s that time again…second Saturday of the month. Home Depot is offering its free hands-on building workshops between 10am and Noon.  This has become a new tradition in our family with Nana & Poppa taking the kiddies out for a morning adventure.

What a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with your child while creating something special that they get to take home and be proud of. You must pre-register but the workshops are totally FREE! (see link below)

The Saturday October 5th workshop is a Fire Rescue Plane !

Build a Fire Rescue Plane:  Kids will learn how to build a fire rescue plane with easy to follow step-by-step instructions.

  • A great free activity for children ages 4-12
  • Kids will learn how to build a fire rescue plane using a hammer and glue

Workshop Duration: 2 Hours but the actual project will take half an hour or less so come by anytime in the 2 hr time slot.

Overview

Kids will learn how to build a cool Despicable Me themed project (rumour has it is a blue car) with easy to follow step-by-step instructions.

  • A great free activity for children ages 4-12
  • Kids will learn how to build with all supplies and tools provided

What is the age requirement to attend these workshops?

Kids Workshops are open to children from ages 4 to 12.

What should I bring to the workshop?

All materials needed for the workshop will be provided by the leaders at your chosen Home Depot location.

Do I need to attend the workshop with my child?

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Are there any costs associated with the Kids Workshops?

Workshops are free to attend.

How often are Kids Workshops held?

Kids Workshops are held once per month on the second Saturday.
